Babar Azam won another honor in the Karachi Test against New Zealand.

Babar has become the joint-most international fifty-plus player in a year.  In the Karachi Test, Babar Azam scored his 25th fifty-plus of the year, after which the Pakistan captain joined Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara.Sangakkara scored 25 fifties in 2014 and Babar scored 7 international centuries and 18 fifties that year. Earlier, Babar Azam had claimed the honor of the Pakistani cricketer who scored the most international runs in a calendar year. The national captain scored his 13th run in the Karachi Test and broke the record of former cricketer Mohammad Yousuf.
